The Branches are a vital part of the life of the Society, promoting fellowship and pursuing a shared interest.

Meetings are generally held monthly in Blyth, Belmont (Durham), Choppington, Hexham, London, Newcastle, North Shields and South Shields.

The feasibility of creating a new branch in Consett is being investigated. See consett for more information.

Although not formally a branch of the Society, the North-east Roots get-togethers have been included in the list of branches to allow details of future talks to be posted. See NE Roots for more information.

These meetings provide extensive help to our members and include such features as guest speakers, projects,  educational demonstrations, workshops, discussions, visits and social events.

Both members and non-members are welcome to attend any meetings.

Note – Gateshead branch closed in 2014 and North Northumberland branch closed in 2018.
