The United Kingdom and Ireland Genealogy Information Service (GENUKI) is another very valuable resource for family historians with roots in those countries. The areas devoted to Northumberland and Durham will be of particular interest to our members.

There are also two e-mail Mailing Lists, NORTHUMBRIA and DUR-NBL, devoted exclusively to research in the two counties, and an Online English Names Directory which includes coverage of Northumberland and Co Durham.
