MEA House is located on Ellison Place.
It is only a few minutes walk away from a Metro Station (St James, Monument, or Haymarket) or Bus Station (Eldon Square, or Haymarket).
The Research Centre is subject to a review of opening hours. We close over Easter and Christmas and the New Year. The Centre is run by volunteers who are happy to welcome you and show you round the premises. They will also assist you to make use of our resources but please don’t expect our volunteers to do your research for you.
If you wish to use a computer or fiche reader it is advisable to telephone and book in advance to avoid disappointment.
The Society does not provide a Wifi service at its Research Centre at Mea House. Mea House provides a wifi service for guests (Mea Guest). Ask at Reception and you will be given the password. Register in the normal way and the service can then be used in our Research Centre.
Refreshments are available in the ground floor Cafe at MEA House.
