Cemetery Index

The Sunderland Ward of The Church of the JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints has prepared an index for several graveyards in Northumberland and Durham. Those indexes are free to use and they are able to provide images at a small cost.

    Volunteers

    Our Library and Research Centre requires volunteers to carry out duties and also give advice to visitors. A good knowledge of researching family history is required. Places are vacant for Tuesday morning 10am til 12:30am and Tuesday afternoon 12:30pm til 3pm. Induction will be given to assist a new volunteer into the processes of the library.

    We also need other volunteers to help with the smooth running of the Society.

    Data inputters and transcribers are always required to populate our databases of Baptisms, Marriages, Burials and Monumental Inscriptions. If you can help, please contact:
